प्र॒त्नं होता॑र॒मीड्यं॒ जुष्ट॑म॒ग्निं क॒विक्र॑तुम् । अ॒ध्व॒राणा॑मभि॒श्रिय॑म् ॥
प्रत्नं होतारमीड्यं जुष्टमग्निं कविक्रतुम् । अध्वराणामभिश्रियम् ॥
pratnaṃ hotāram īḍyaṃ juṣṭam agniṃ kavikratum | adhvarāṇām abhiśriyam ||

English translation:

“(I worship) the beloved Agni, the ancient adorable invoker (of the gods), the wise, the frequenter ofsacrifices.”
