Rig Veda 8.44.3

अ॒ग्निं दू॒तं पु॒रो द॑धे हव्य॒वाह॒मुप॑ ब्रुवे । दे॒वाँ आ सा॑दयादि॒ह ॥
अग्निं दूतं पुरो दधे हव्यवाहमुप ब्रुवे । देवाँ आ सादयादिह ॥
agniṃ dūtam puro dadhe havyavāham upa bruve | devām̐ ā sādayād iha ||

English translation:

“I set Agni in the front as the messenger, I adore him as the bearer of the oblations; may he cause thegods to sit down here.”
