अ॒स्मा ऊ॒ षु प्रभू॑तये॒ वरु॑णाय म॒रुद्भ्योऽर्चा॑ वि॒दुष्ट॑रेभ्यः । यो धी॒ता मानु॑षाणां प॒श्वो गा इ॑व॒ रक्ष॑ति॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥
अस्मा ऊ षु प्रभूतये वरुणाय मरुद्भ्योऽर्चा विदुष्टरेभ्यः । यो धीता मानुषाणां पश्वो गा इव रक्षति नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
asmā ū ṣu prabhūtaye varuṇāya marudbhyo 'rcā viduṣṭarebhyaḥ | yo dhītā mānuṣāṇām paśvo gā iva rakṣati nabhantām anyake same ||
English translation:
“Offer praise to that opulent Varuṇa, and to the most sage Maruts; (Varuṇa) who protects men by hisacts, as (the herdsman guards) the cattle; may all our adversaries perish.”
