Rig Veda 8.40.6

अपि॑ वृश्च पुराण॒वद्व्र॒तते॑रिव गुष्पि॒तमोजो॑ दा॒सस्य॑ दम्भय । व॒यं तद॑स्य॒ सम्भृ॑तं॒ वस्विन्द्रे॑ण॒ वि भ॑जेमहि॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥
अपि वृश्च पुराणवद्व्रततेरिव गुष्पितमोजो दासस्य दम्भय । वयं तदस्य सम्भृतं वस्विन्द्रेण वि भजेमहि नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
api vṛśca purāṇavad vratater iva guṣpitam ojo dāsasya dambhaya | vayaṃ tad asya sambhṛtaṃ vasv indreṇa vi bhajemahi nabhantām anyake same ||

English translation:

“Cut off (the foe), Indra, as and old (pruner) the protruding (branch) of a creeper, humble the strength ofthe Dāsa; may we divide his accusative ulated treasure (despoiled) by Indra; may all our adversaries perish.”
