अग्ने॒ मन्मा॑नि॒ तुभ्यं॒ कं घृ॒तं न जु॑ह्व आ॒सनि॑ । स दे॒वेषु॒ प्र चि॑किद्धि॒ त्वं ह्यसि॑ पू॒र्व्यः शि॒वो दू॒तो वि॒वस्व॑तो॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒के स॑मे ॥
अग्ने मन्मानि तुभ्यं कं घृतं न जुह्व आसनि । स देवेषु प्र चिकिद्धि त्वं ह्यसि पूर्व्यः शिवो दूतो विवस्वतो नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
agne manmāni tubhyaṃ kaṃ ghṛtaṃ na juhva āsani | sa deveṣu pra cikiddhi tvaṃ hy asi pūrvyaḥ śivo dūto vivasvato nabhantām anyake same ||

English translation:

“I pour into your mouth, Agni, praises as others (fill it) with delicious butter; do you amidst the godsacknowledge (them), for you are ancient, the giver of happiness, the messenger of Vivaśvat; may all ouradversaries perish.”
