हं॒सावि॑व पतथो अध्व॒गावि॑व॒ सोमं॑ सु॒तं म॑हि॒षेवाव॑ गच्छथः । स॒जोष॑सा उ॒षसा॒ सूर्ये॑ण च॒ त्रिर्व॒र्तिर्या॑तमश्विना ॥
हंसाविव पतथो अध्वगाविव सोमं सुतं महिषेवाव गच्छथः । सजोषसा उषसा सूर्येण च त्रिर्वर्तिर्यातमश्विना ॥
haṃsāv iva patatho adhvagāv iva somaṃ sutam mahiṣevāva gacchathaḥ | sajoṣasā uṣasā sūryeṇa ca trir vartir yātam aśvinā ||
English translation:
“As two geese, as two travellers, as two buffaloes (hasten to water), you alight, Aśvins, upon the effusedSoma; united with the dawn and with Sūrya, come, Aśvins, by the triple path.”
