Rig Veda 8.25.21

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

तत्सूर्यं॒ रोद॑सी उ॒भे दो॒षा वस्तो॒रुप॑ ब्रुवे । भो॒जेष्व॒स्माँ अ॒भ्युच्च॑रा॒ सदा॑ ॥
तत्सूर्यं रोदसी उभे दोषा वस्तोरुप ब्रुवे । भोजेष्वस्माँ अभ्युच्चरा सदा ॥
tat sūryaṃ rodasī ubhe doṣā vastor upa bruve | bhojeṣv asmām̐ abhy uc carā sadā ||

English translation:

“I glorify by night and day that sun (Mitra and Varuṇa) and both the heaven and earth; do you (Varuṇa)ever bring us to the presence of the bountiful.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

That sun, Mitra and Varuṇa: tat sūryam = the brightness of Mitraand Varuṇa; sūryam suvīryam tat varuṇam maitram ca tejas
