Rig Veda 8.24.22

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

स्तु॒हीन्द्रं॑ व्यश्व॒वदनू॑र्मिं वा॒जिनं॒ यम॑म् । अ॒र्यो गयं॒ मंह॑मानं॒ वि दा॒शुषे॑ ॥
स्तुहीन्द्रं व्यश्ववदनूर्मिं वाजिनं यमम् । अर्यो गयं मंहमानं वि दाशुषे ॥
stuhīndraṃ vyaśvavad anūrmiṃ vājinaṃ yamam | aryo gayam maṃhamānaṃ vi dāśuṣe ||

English translation:

“Glorify Indra, the unassailable, the powerful, the regulator (of man), as was done by Vyaśva, he, thelord, gives a spacious dwelling to the donor (of the oblation).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Donor: yamam = stotṛbhiḥ suniyatam, who isconciliated by his praisers; maṃhamānam gayam = honourale wealth; or, a house for the worship of the gods
