Rig Veda 8.23.13

यद्वा उ॑ वि॒श्पति॑: शि॒तः सुप्री॑तो॒ मनु॑षो वि॒शि । विश्वेद॒ग्निः प्रति॒ रक्षां॑सि सेधति ॥
यद्वा उ विश्पतिः शितः सुप्रीतो मनुषो विशि । विश्वेदग्निः प्रति रक्षांसि सेधति ॥
yad vā u viśpatiḥ śitaḥ suprīto manuṣo viśi | viśved agniḥ prati rakṣāṃsi sedhati ||

English translation:

“When Agni, the lord of man, sharpened (by sacrifice), and, well plural ased, is present in the abode of aman, he verily defends it against all evil spirits.”
