Rig Veda 8.20.21

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

गाव॑श्चिद्घा समन्यवः सजा॒त्ये॑न मरुत॒: सब॑न्धवः । रि॒ह॒ते क॒कुभो॑ मि॒थः ॥
गावश्चिद्घा समन्यवः सजात्येन मरुतः सबन्धवः । रिहते ककुभो मिथः ॥
gāvaś cid ghā samanyavaḥ sajātyena marutaḥ sabandhavaḥ | rihate kakubho mithaḥ ||

English translation:

Maruts, who are of like wrath, offspring of the maternal cow (Pṛśni), related by a common origin, theyseverally spread through the quarters of the horizon.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Or, Maruts, alike in energy, your kindred, the cows,severally lick up the quarters of the horizon;
