Rig Veda 8.18.22

ये चि॒द्धि मृ॒त्युब॑न्धव॒ आदि॑त्या॒ मन॑व॒: स्मसि॑ । प्र सू न॒ आयु॑र्जी॒वसे॑ तिरेतन ॥
ये चिद्धि मृत्युबन्धव आदित्या मनवः स्मसि । प्र सू न आयुर्जीवसे तिरेतन ॥
ye cid dhi mṛtyubandhava ādityā manavaḥ smasi | pra sū na āyur jīvase tiretana ||

English translation:

“Since, Ādityas, we mortals are of kin to death, do you benevolently (exert yourselves to) prolong ourlives.”
