Rig Veda 8.17.12

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

शाचि॑गो॒ शाचि॑पूजना॒यं रणा॑य ते सु॒तः । आख॑ण्डल॒ प्र हू॑यसे ॥
शाचिगो शाचिपूजनायं रणाय ते सुतः । आखण्डल प्र हूयसे ॥
śācigo śācipūjanāyaṃ raṇāya te sutaḥ | ākhaṇḍala pra hūyase ||

English translation:

“Renowned for radiance, renowned for adoration, this libation is for your gratification; destroyer of foes,you are earnestly invoked.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Radiance: śācigo: śaktā gāvo yasya, he whose cattle are strong;

Śācayaḥ =vyaktāḥ, manifest; or, prakhyātāḥ, famous;

GāVaḥ = raśmayaḥ, rays, i.e., of renowned or manifest brilliance;

Śācipūjana = prakhyātapūjana, of renowned adoration; or, whose hymns are renowned
