Rig Veda 8.12.29

य॒दा ते॒ मारु॑ती॒र्विश॒स्तुभ्य॑मिन्द्र नियेमि॒रे । आदित्ते॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि येमिरे ॥
यदा ते मारुतीर्विशस्तुभ्यमिन्द्र नियेमिरे । आदित्ते विश्वा भुवनानि येमिरे ॥
yadā te mārutīr viśas tubhyam indra niyemire | ād it te viśvā bhuvanāni yemire ||

English translation:

“When, Indra, your people, the Maruts, were regulated by you, then all existent beings were subject untoyou.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
