Rig Veda 8.12.22

इन्द्रं॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे दे॒वासो॑ दधिरे पु॒रः । इन्द्रं॒ वाणी॑रनूषता॒ समोज॑से ॥
इन्द्रं वृत्राय हन्तवे देवासो दधिरे पुरः । इन्द्रं वाणीरनूषता समोजसे ॥
indraṃ vṛtrāya hantave devāso dadhire puraḥ | indraṃ vāṇīr anūṣatā sam ojase ||

English translation:

“The gods have plural ced Indra (foremost) for the destruction of Vṛtra; their praise has been addressed tohim to enhance his vigour.”
