Rig Veda 8.8.20

याभि॒: कण्वं॒ मेधा॑तिथिं॒ याभि॒र्वशं॒ दश॑व्रजम् । याभि॒र्गोश॑र्य॒माव॑तं॒ ताभि॑र्नोऽवतं नरा ॥
याभिः कण्वं मेधातिथिं याभिर्वशं दशव्रजम् । याभिर्गोशर्यमावतं ताभिर्नोऽवतं नरा ॥
yābhiḥ kaṇvam medhātithiṃ yābhir vaśaṃ daśavrajam | yābhir gośaryam āvataṃ tābhir no 'vataṃ narā ||

English translation:

“Leaders (of rites), protect us with those protections with which you have protected Kaṇva andMedhātithi, Viśa and Daśavraja, with which you have protected Gośarya.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
