कदु॑ स्तु॒वन्त॑ ऋतयन्त दे॒वत॒ ऋषि॒: को विप्र॑ ओहते । क॒दा हवं॑ मघवन्निन्द्र सुन्व॒तः कदु॑ स्तुव॒त आ ग॑मः ॥
कदु स्तुवन्त ऋतयन्त देवत ऋषिः को विप्र ओहते । कदा हवं मघवन्निन्द्र सुन्वतः कदु स्तुवत आ गमः ॥
kad u stuvanta ṛtayanta devata ṛṣiḥ ko vipra ohate | kadā havam maghavann indra sunvataḥ kad u stuvata ā gamaḥ ||
English translation:
“Who, praising you as the deity, (ever) hoped to sacrifice to you? What saint, what sage conveys (hispraises to yo?) When, opulent Indra, have you come to the invocation of one pouring out libations, of onerepeating (your) praise?”
