Rig Veda 8.2.16

व॒यमु॑ त्वा त॒दिद॑र्था॒ इन्द्र॑ त्वा॒यन्त॒: सखा॑यः । कण्वा॑ उ॒क्थेभि॑र्जरन्ते ॥
वयमु त्वा तदिदर्था इन्द्र त्वायन्तः सखायः । कण्वा उक्थेभिर्जरन्ते ॥
vayam u tvā tadidarthā indra tvāyantaḥ sakhāyaḥ | kaṇvā ukthebhir jarante ||

English translation:

“Friends devoted, Indra, to you we, the descendants of Kaṇva, having your praise for our object, glorifyyou with prayers.”
