Rig Veda 8.2.15

मा न॑ इन्द्र पीय॒त्नवे॒ मा शर्ध॑ते॒ परा॑ दाः । शिक्षा॑ शचीव॒: शची॑भिः ॥
मा न इन्द्र पीयत्नवे मा शर्धते परा दाः । शिक्षा शचीवः शचीभिः ॥
mā na indra pīyatnave mā śardhate parā dāḥ | śikṣā śacīvaḥ śacībhiḥ ||

English translation:

“Consign us not, Indra, to the slayer, not to an overpowering foe; doer of great deeds, enable us by youracts (to conquer).”
