Rig Veda 8.1.27

य एको॒ अस्ति॑ दं॒सना॑ म॒हाँ उ॒ग्रो अ॒भि व्र॒तैः । गम॒त्स शि॒प्री न स यो॑ष॒दा ग॑म॒द्धवं॒ न परि॑ वर्जति ॥
य एको अस्ति दंसना महाँ उग्रो अभि व्रतैः । गमत्स शिप्री न स योषदा गमद्धवं न परि वर्जति ॥
ya eko asti daṃsanā mahām̐ ugro abhi vrataiḥ | gamat sa śiprī na sa yoṣad ā gamad dhavaṃ na pari varjati ||

English translation:

“May he who alone overcomes (enemies) through (the power of) religious observances, who by piousacts is rendered mighty and fierce, who is handsome- chinned, approach; may he never be remote; may he cometo our invocation; may he never abandon us.”
