Rig Veda 8.1.12
Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:
य ऋ॒ते चि॑दभि॒श्रिष॑: पु॒रा ज॒त्रुभ्य॑ आ॒तृद॑: । संधा॑ता सं॒धिं म॒घवा॑ पुरू॒वसु॒रिष्क॑र्ता॒ विह्रु॑तं॒ पुन॑: ॥
य ऋते चिदभिश्रिषः पुरा जत्रुभ्य आतृदः । संधाता संधिं मघवा पुरूवसुरिष्कर्ता विह्रुतं पुनः ॥
ya ṛte cid abhiśriṣaḥ purā jatrubhya ātṛdaḥ | saṃdhātā saṃdhim maghavā purūvasur iṣkartā vihrutam punaḥ ||
English translation:
“He who without healing materials before the flow of blood from the necks was the effecter of there-union, the opulent Maghavan, again makes whole the dissevered (parts).”
