Rig Veda 8.1.10

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

आ त्व१॒॑द्य स॑ब॒र्दुघां॑ हु॒वे गा॑य॒त्रवे॑पसम् । इन्द्रं॑ धे॒नुं सु॒दुघा॒मन्या॒मिष॑मु॒रुधा॑रामरं॒कृत॑म् ॥
आ त्वद्य सबर्दुघां हुवे गायत्रवेपसम् । इन्द्रं धेनुं सुदुघामन्यामिषमुरुधारामरंकृतम् ॥
ā tv adya sabardughāṃ huve gāyatravepasam | indraṃ dhenuṃ sudughām anyām iṣam urudhārām araṃkṛtam ||

English translation:

“I invoke today the all-sufficient Indra, as the milch cow yielding abundant milk, of excellent motion, andeasy to be milked; or, as another (form), the vast-dropping, desirable (rain).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Of excellent motion: gāyatravepasam = praśasya vegam, of excellent speed; vast-dropping: anyām iṣam urudhārām =bahūdakadhārām eśanīyam vṛṣṭim;

Anyam = unparalleled, adṛṣṭapūrvam
