रा॒ये नु यं ज॒ज्ञतू॒ रोद॑सी॒मे रा॒ये दे॒वी धि॒षणा॑ धाति दे॒वम् । अध॑ वा॒युं नि॒युत॑: सश्चत॒ स्वा उ॒त श्वे॒तं वसु॑धितिं निरे॒के ॥
राये नु यं जज्ञतू रोदसीमे राये देवी धिषणा धाति देवम् । अध वायुं नियुतः सश्चत स्वा उत श्वेतं वसुधितिं निरेके ॥
rāye nu yaṃ jajñatū rodasīme rāye devī dhiṣaṇā dhāti devam | adha vāyuṃ niyutaḥ saścata svā uta śvetaṃ vasudhitiṃ nireke ||

English translation:

“His own Niyut steeds bear to the plural ce of poverty the white- complexioned dispenser of wealth, Vāyu,whom heaven and earth bore for the sake of riches, whom the divine language of praise sustains as a deity forthe sake of riches.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Nireke = dāridryam from nitarām riktatā; or, alternative interpretation: a plural ce crowdedwith people, bahujanākīrṇe sthāne; from nir = nirgata;
