अ॒स्मे इन्द्रो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा द्यु॒म्नं य॑च्छन्तु॒ महि॒ शर्म॑ स॒प्रथ॑: । अ॒व॒ध्रं ज्योति॒रदि॑तेॠता॒वृधो॑ दे॒वस्य॒ श्लोकं॑ सवि॒तुर्म॑नामहे ॥
अस्मे इन्द्रो वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा द्युम्नं यच्छन्तु महि शर्म सप्रथः । अवध्रं ज्योतिरदितेॠतावृधो देवस्य श्लोकं सवितुर्मनामहे ॥
asme indro varuṇo mitro aryamā dyumnaṃ yacchantu mahi śarma saprathaḥ | avadhraṃ jyotir aditer ṛtāvṛdho devasya ślokaṃ savitur manāmahe ||
English translation:
“May Indra, Varuṇa, Mitra and Aryaman grant us wealth and a large and spacious habitation; may thelustre of Aditi, the augmentress of sacrifice, be innoxious to us; we recite the praise of the divine Savitā.”
