प्रति॑ त्वा॒ स्तोमै॑रीळते॒ वसि॑ष्ठा उष॒र्बुध॑: सुभगे तुष्टु॒वांस॑: । गवां॑ ने॒त्री वाज॑पत्नी न उ॒च्छोष॑: सुजाते प्रथ॒मा ज॑रस्व ॥
प्रति त्वा स्तोमैरीळते वसिष्ठा उषर्बुधः सुभगे तुष्टुवांसः । गवां नेत्री वाजपत्नी न उच्छोषः सुजाते प्रथमा जरस्व ॥
prati tvā stomair īḻate vasiṣṭhā uṣarbudhaḥ subhage tuṣṭuvāṃsaḥ | gavāṃ netrī vājapatnī na ucchoṣaḥ sujāte prathamā jarasva ||
English translation:
“Auspicious Uṣas, the Vasiṣṭhas, waking at dawn; and praising you, glorify you, glorify you with hymns;Uṣas, who are the conductress of the cattle (to pasture), the bestower of food, dawn upon us; shine, well-bornUṣas, the first (of the gods).”
