नरा॑ गौ॒रेव॑ वि॒द्युतं॑ तृषा॒णास्माक॑म॒द्य सव॒नोप॑ यातम् । पु॒रु॒त्रा हि वां॑ म॒तिभि॒र्हव॑न्ते॒ मा वा॑म॒न्ये नि य॑मन्देव॒यन्त॑: ॥
नरा गौरेव विद्युतं तृषाणास्माकमद्य सवनोप यातम् । पुरुत्रा हि वां मतिभिर्हवन्ते मा वामन्ये नि यमन्देवयन्तः ॥
narā gaureva vidyutaṃ tṛṣāṇāsmākam adya savanopa yātam | purutrā hi vām matibhir havante mā vām anye ni yaman devayantaḥ ||
English translation:
“Leaders of rites, like (thirsty) cattle, thirsting for the radiant (Soma), hasten today to our sacrifice; inmany ceremonies do the pious propitiate you with praises; let not other devout worshippers detain you.”
