उद्वां॒ चक्षु॑र्वरुण सु॒प्रती॑कं दे॒वयो॑रेति॒ सूर्य॑स्तत॒न्वान् । अ॒भि यो विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि॒ चष्टे॒ स म॒न्युं मर्त्ये॒ष्वा चि॑केत ॥
उद्वां चक्षुर्वरुण सुप्रतीकं देवयोरेति सूर्यस्ततन्वान् । अभि यो विश्वा भुवनानि चष्टे स मन्युं मर्त्येष्वा चिकेत ॥
ud vāṃ cakṣur varuṇa supratīkaṃ devayor eti sūryas tatanvān | abhi yo viśvā bhuvanāni caṣṭe sa manyum martyeṣv ā ciketa ||
English translation:
“Spreading arond the beautiful light, Mitra and Varuṇa, of you two divinities, Sūrya rises; he whobeholds all existing beings apprehends the acts of mortals.”
