अंसे॒ष्वा म॑रुतः खा॒दयो॑ वो॒ वक्ष॑स्सु रु॒क्मा उ॑पशिश्रिया॒णाः । वि वि॒द्युतो॒ न वृ॒ष्टिभी॑ रुचा॒ना अनु॑ स्व॒धामायु॑धै॒र्यच्छ॑मानाः ॥
अंसेष्वा मरुतः खादयो वो वक्षस्सु रुक्मा उपशिश्रियाणाः । वि विद्युतो न वृष्टिभी रुचाना अनु स्वधामायुधैर्यच्छमानाः ॥
aṃseṣv ā marutaḥ khādayo vo vakṣassu rukmā upaśiśriyāṇāḥ | vi vidyuto na vṛṣṭibhī rucānā anu svadhām āyudhair yacchamānāḥ ||
English translation:
“Bright ornaments, Maruts, are on your shoulders, shining (necklaces) are pendant on your breasts,glittering with rain, like lightnings, you are distributing the waters with your weapons.”

Bright ornaments:khādayo alaṅkāra viśeṣaḥ: khādi, a guard of the hand (RV. 1.23.4.3); Maruts are bearers of lances on theirshoulders; shining necklaces: rukma = rocamāna, shining; elsewhere Maruts are said to have golden cuirasseson their breasts; possibly rukma may mean the same
