आ पु॒त्रासो॒ न मा॒तरं॒ विभृ॑त्रा॒: सानौ॑ दे॒वासो॑ ब॒र्हिष॑: सदन्तु । आ वि॒श्वाची॑ विद॒थ्या॑मन॒क्त्वग्ने॒ मा नो॑ दे॒वता॑ता॒ मृध॑स्कः ॥
आ पुत्रासो न मातरं विभृत्राः सानौ देवासो बर्हिषः सदन्तु । आ विश्वाची विदथ्यामनक्त्वग्ने मा नो देवताता मृधस्कः ॥
ā putrāso na mātaraṃ vibhṛtrāḥ sānau devāso barhiṣaḥ sadantu | ā viśvācī vidathyām anaktv agne mā no devatātā mṛdhas kaḥ ||

English translation:

“Let the gods sit down on the summit of the sacred grass, like children nursed on the (lap of the) mother;let the full ladle, Agni, pour (the oblaion) on the sacrificial flame; give us not up to your adversaries in battle.”
