Rig Veda 7.34.10

आ च॑ष्ट आसां॒ पाथो॑ न॒दीनां॒ वरु॑ण उ॒ग्रः स॒हस्र॑चक्षाः ॥
आ चष्ट आसां पाथो नदीनां वरुण उग्रः सहस्रचक्षाः ॥
ā caṣṭa āsām pātho nadīnāṃ varuṇa ugraḥ sahasracakṣāḥ ||

English translation:

“The fierce Varuṇa, the thousand-eyed, contemplates the water of these rivers.”
