Rig Veda 7.18.14

नि ग॒व्यवोऽन॑वो द्रु॒ह्यव॑श्च ष॒ष्टिः श॒ता सु॑षुपु॒: षट् स॒हस्रा॑ । ष॒ष्टिर्वी॒रासो॒ अधि॒ षड्दु॑वो॒यु विश्वेदिन्द्र॑स्य वी॒र्या॑ कृ॒तानि॑ ॥
नि गव्यवोऽनवो द्रुह्यवश्च षष्टिः शता सुषुपुः षट् सहस्रा । षष्टिर्वीरासो अधि षड्दुवोयु विश्वेदिन्द्रस्य वीर्या कृतानि ॥
ni gavyavo 'navo druhyavaś ca ṣaṣṭiḥ śatā suṣupuḥ ṣaṭ sahasrā | ṣaṣṭir vīrāso adhi ṣaḍ duvoyu viśved indrasya vīryā kṛtāni ||

English translation:

“The warriors of the Anus and Druhyus, intending (to carry off the) cattle, (hostile) to the pious(Sudāsa) perished to the number of sixty-six thousand six hundred and sixty; such are all the glorious acts ofIndra.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Sixty- thousand: ṣaṣṭiḥ śata śat. sahasra ṣaṣṭir adhi śat. = sixty hundreds, six thousands, sixty, withsix more;
