त्वाम॑ग्ने समिधा॒नो वसि॑ष्ठो॒ जरू॑थं ह॒न्यक्षि॑ रा॒ये पुरं॑धिम् । पु॒रु॒णी॒था जा॑तवेदो जरस्व यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥
त्वामग्ने समिधानो वसिष्ठो जरूथं हन्यक्षि राये पुरंधिम् । पुरुणीथा जातवेदो जरस्व यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
tvām agne samidhāno vasiṣṭho jarūthaṃ han yakṣi rāye puraṃdhim | puruṇīthā jātavedo jarasva yūyam pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ ||
English translation:
“Vasiṣṭha is kindling you, Agni; destroy the malignant; worship the object of many rites, (the company ofthe gods), on behalf of the wealthy (instrumental tutor of the sacrifice), praise (the gods), Jātavedas, with manifoldpraises, and do you ever cherish us with blessings.”
