इ॒दा हि वो॑ विध॒ते रत्न॒मस्ती॒दा वी॒राय॑ दा॒शुष॑ उषासः । इ॒दा विप्रा॑य॒ जर॑ते॒ यदु॒क्था नि ष्म॒ माव॑ते वहथा पु॒रा चि॑त् ॥
इदा हि वो विधते रत्नमस्तीदा वीराय दाशुष उषासः । इदा विप्राय जरते यदुक्था नि ष्म मावते वहथा पुरा चित् ॥
idā hi vo vidhate ratnam astīdā vīrāya dāśuṣa uṣāsaḥ | idā viprāya jarate yad ukthā ni ṣma māvate vahathā purā cit ||
English translation:
“Verily, Dawns, there is at present wealth to give to your worshiper, to the man offering (oblations) to the sage repeating your praise; if the praises (are accepted), then bring to him who is like me such wealth as has been formerly bestowed (upon myself).”
