Rig Veda 6.55.4

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

पू॒षणं॒ न्व१॒॑जाश्व॒मुप॑ स्तोषाम वा॒जिन॑म् । स्वसु॒र्यो जा॒र उ॒च्यते॑ ॥
पूषणं न्वजाश्वमुप स्तोषाम वाजिनम् । स्वसुर्यो जार उच्यते ॥
pūṣaṇaṃ nv ajāśvam upa stoṣāma vājinam | svasur yo jāra ucyate ||

English translation:

“We glorify Pūṣan, the rider of the goat, the giver of food, him who is called the gallant of his sister.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Svasur yo jāra ucyate, the sister of Pūṣan is the dawn, with whom he, as the sun, may be said to associate amorously
