अव॑न्तु॒ मामु॒षसो॒ जाय॑माना॒ अव॑न्तु मा॒ सिन्ध॑व॒: पिन्व॑मानाः । अव॑न्तु मा॒ पर्व॑तासो ध्रु॒वासोऽव॑न्तु मा पि॒तरो॑ दे॒वहू॑तौ ॥
अवन्तु मामुषसो जायमाना अवन्तु मा सिन्धवः पिन्वमानाः । अवन्तु मा पर्वतासो ध्रुवासोऽवन्तु मा पितरो देवहूतौ ॥
avantu mām uṣaso jāyamānā avantu mā sindhavaḥ pinvamānāḥ | avantu mā parvatāso dhruvāso 'vantu mā pitaro devahūtau ||

English translation:

“May the opening dawns preserve me; may the swelling rivers preserve me; may the firm-set mountains preserve me; may the progenitors (present) at the invocation of the gods preserve me.”
