उदु॒ त्यच्चक्षु॒र्महि॑ मि॒त्रयो॒राँ एति॑ प्रि॒यं वरु॑णयो॒रद॑ब्धम् । ऋ॒तस्य॒ शुचि॑ दर्श॒तमनी॑कं रु॒क्मो न दि॒व उदि॑ता॒ व्य॑द्यौत् ॥
उदु त्यच्चक्षुर्महि मित्रयोराँ एति प्रियं वरुणयोरदब्धम् । ऋतस्य शुचि दर्शतमनीकं रुक्मो न दिव उदिता व्यद्यौत् ॥
ud u tyac cakṣur mahi mitrayor ām̐ eti priyaṃ varuṇayor adabdham | ṛtasya śuci darśatam anīkaṃ rukmo na diva uditā vy adyaut ||
English translation:
“The expansive, illuminating, unobstructive, pure, and beautiful radiance of the sun, grateful to Mitra and Varuṇa, having risen, shines like the ornament of the sky.”
