ओ॒मान॑मापो मानुषी॒रमृ॑क्तं॒ धात॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय॒ शं योः । यू॒यं हि ष्ठा भि॒षजो॑ मा॒तृत॑मा॒ विश्व॑स्य स्था॒तुर्जग॑तो॒ जनि॑त्रीः ॥
ओमानमापो मानुषीरमृक्तं धात तोकाय तनयाय शं योः । यूयं हि ष्ठा भिषजो मातृतमा विश्वस्य स्थातुर्जगतो जनित्रीः ॥
omānam āpo mānuṣīr amṛktaṃ dhāta tokāya tanayāya śaṃ yoḥ | yūyaṃ hi ṣṭhā bhiṣajo mātṛtamā viśvasya sthātur jagato janitrīḥ ||
English translation:
“Waters, friendly to mankind, grant uninterrupted (life) preserving (food) for (the perpetuation of our) sons and grandsons; grant us security and the removal (of all evil), for you are more than maternal physicians; you are the parents of the stationary and moveable universe.”

Security and the removal of all evil: śaṃyoḥ: śamanam upadravāṇām, the appeasing of oppressiosn or violences; yāvanam pṛthakkartavyānām, the making separate of those things which are to be kept off
