त्वामु॒ग्रमव॑से चर्षणी॒सहं॒ राज॑न्दे॒वेषु॑ हूमहे । विश्वा॒ सु नो॑ विथु॒रा पि॑ब्द॒ना व॑सो॒ऽमित्रा॑न्त्सु॒षहा॑न्कृधि ॥
त्वामुग्रमवसे चर्षणीसहं राजन्देवेषु हूमहे । विश्वा सु नो विथुरा पिब्दना वसोऽमित्रान्त्सुषहान्कृधि ॥
tvām ugram avase carṣaṇīsahaṃ rājan deveṣu hūmahe | viśvā su no vithurā pibdanā vaso 'mitrān suṣahān kṛdhi ||
English translation:
“We invoke for protection you, royal Indra, who are mighty among the gods, tthe subduer of men; granter of dwellings, repel all evil spirits, and render our enemies easy of discomfiture.”
