Rig Veda 6.43.4

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

यस्य॑ मन्दा॒नो अन्ध॑सो॒ माघो॑नं दधि॒षे शव॑: । अ॒यं स सोम॑ इन्द्र ते सु॒तः पिब॑ ॥
यस्य मन्दानो अन्धसो माघोनं दधिषे शवः । अयं स सोम इन्द्र ते सुतः पिब ॥
yasya mandāno andhaso māghonaṃ dadhiṣe śavaḥ | ayaṃ sa soma indra te sutaḥ piba ||

English translation:

“This Soma, exhilarated (by drinking) of which (sacrificial) food you possessed the might of Maghavan, is poured out, Indra, for you; drink.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

The might of Maghavan: māghonam śavas, the rank of office of Indra, is engendered by the Soma, somam indratvam jātam
