कर्हि॑ स्वि॒त्तदि॑न्द्र॒ यज्ज॑रि॒त्रे वि॒श्वप्सु॒ ब्रह्म॑ कृ॒णव॑: शविष्ठ । क॒दा धियो॒ न नि॒युतो॑ युवासे क॒दा गोम॑घा॒ हव॑नानि गच्छाः ॥
कर्हि स्वित्तदिन्द्र यज्जरित्रे विश्वप्सु ब्रह्म कृणवः शविष्ठ । कदा धियो न नियुतो युवासे कदा गोमघा हवनानि गच्छाः ॥
karhi svit tad indra yaj jaritre viśvapsu brahma kṛṇavaḥ śaviṣṭha | kadā dhiyo na niyuto yuvāse kadā gomaghā havanāni gacchāḥ ||

English translation:

“When, most vigorous Indra, will you grant your worshipper that food which is all-sufficing? When will you combine (in yourself) worship and praises? When will you render oblations productive of cattle?”
