त्वं वृ॒ध इ॑न्द्र पू॒र्व्यो भू॑र्वरिव॒स्यन्नु॒शने॑ का॒व्याय॑ । परा॒ नव॑वास्त्वमनु॒देयं॑ म॒हे पि॒त्रे द॑दाथ॒ स्वं नपा॑तम् ॥
त्वं वृध इन्द्र पूर्व्यो भूर्वरिवस्यन्नुशने काव्याय । परा नववास्त्वमनुदेयं महे पित्रे ददाथ स्वं नपातम् ॥
tvaṃ vṛdha indra pūrvyo bhūr varivasyann uśane kāvyāya | parā navavāstvam anudeyam mahe pitre dadātha svaṃ napātam ||
English translation:
“Desirous of opulence, you, Indra, have been an ancient benefactor of Uśanas, the son of Kavi; having slain Navavāstva, you have given back his own grandson, who was (fit) to be restored o the grandfather.”
