उ॒दाव॑ता॒ त्वक्ष॑सा॒ पन्य॑सा च वृत्र॒हत्या॑य॒ रथ॑मिन्द्र तिष्ठ । धि॒ष्व वज्रं॒ हस्त॒ आ द॑क्षिण॒त्राभि प्र म॑न्द पुरुदत्र मा॒याः ॥
उदावता त्वक्षसा पन्यसा च वृत्रहत्याय रथमिन्द्र तिष्ठ । धिष्व वज्रं हस्त आ दक्षिणत्राभि प्र मन्द पुरुदत्र मायाः ॥
udāvatā tvakṣasā panyasā ca vṛtrahatyāya ratham indra tiṣṭha | dhiṣva vajraṃ hasta ā dakṣiṇatrābhi pra manda purudatra māyāḥ ||
English translation:
“(Endowed) with upward-rising, foe-thinning, and glorified (vigour), ascend your car for the destruction of Vṛtra; take the thunderbolt in your right hand, giver of wealth, baffle the devices (of the asuras).”
