Rig Veda 6.16.48

अ॒ग्निं दे॒वासो॑ अग्रि॒यमि॒न्धते॑ वृत्र॒हन्त॑मम् । येना॒ वसू॒न्याभृ॑ता तृ॒ळ्हा रक्षां॑सि वा॒जिना॑ ॥
अग्निं देवासो अग्रियमिन्धते वृत्रहन्तमम् । येना वसून्याभृता तृळ्हा रक्षांसि वाजिना ॥
agniṃ devāso agriyam indhate vṛtrahantamam | yenā vasūny ābhṛtā tṛḻhā rakṣāṃsi vājinā ||

English translation:

“The gods kindle Agni as the chief (of them); as the especial desroyer of Vṛtra; by whom the treasures (of the asuras) are carried off; by whom the rākṣasas are destroyed.”
