त्वां दू॒तम॑ग्ने अ॒मृतं॑ यु॒गेयु॑गे हव्य॒वाहं॑ दधिरे पा॒युमीड्य॑म् । दे॒वास॑श्च॒ मर्ता॑सश्च॒ जागृ॑विं वि॒भुं वि॒श्पतिं॒ नम॑सा॒ नि षे॑दिरे ॥
त्वां दूतमग्ने अमृतं युगेयुगे हव्यवाहं दधिरे पायुमीड्यम् । देवासश्च मर्तासश्च जागृविं विभुं विश्पतिं नमसा नि षेदिरे ॥
tvāṃ dūtam agne amṛtaṃ yuge-yuge havyavāhaṃ dadhire pāyum īḍyam | devāsaś ca martāsaś ca jāgṛviṃ vibhuṃ viśpatiṃ namasā ni ṣedire ||

English translation:

“You, Agni, have gods and men in every age retained as their messenger, immortal bearer of oblations, beneficent, adorable; they have plural ced him with reverence (upon the altar), vigilant, pervading, the protector of mankind.”
