स इत्तन्तुं॒ स वि जा॑ना॒त्योतुं॒ स वक्त्वा॑न्यृतु॒था व॑दाति । य ईं॒ चिके॑तद॒मृत॑स्य गो॒पा अ॒वश्चर॑न्प॒रो अ॒न्येन॒ पश्य॑न् ॥
स इत्तन्तुं स वि जानात्योतुं स वक्त्वान्यृतुथा वदाति । य ईं चिकेतदमृतस्य गोपा अवश्चरन्परो अन्येन पश्यन् ॥
sa it tantuṃ sa vi jānāty otuṃ sa vaktvāny ṛtuthā vadāti | ya īṃ ciketad amṛtasya gopā avaś caran paro anyena paśyan ||
English translation:
“He verily knows the threads of the warp and or the woof, he speaks in due season what is to be said, who comprehends all this (universe); who is the protector of ambrosial water, sojourning both above and below, and contemplating (the world) under a different (manifestation).”
