Rig Veda 6.9.1

अह॑श्च कृ॒ष्णमह॒रर्जु॑नं च॒ वि व॑र्तेते॒ रज॑सी वे॒द्याभि॑: । वै॒श्वा॒न॒रो जाय॑मानो॒ न राजावा॑तिर॒ज्ज्योति॑षा॒ग्निस्तमां॑सि ॥
अहश्च कृष्णमहरर्जुनं च वि वर्तेते रजसी वेद्याभिः । वैश्वानरो जायमानो न राजावातिरज्ज्योतिषाग्निस्तमांसि ॥
ahaś ca kṛṣṇam ahar arjunaṃ ca vi vartete rajasī vedyābhiḥ | vaiśvānaro jāyamāno na rājāvātiraj jyotiṣāgnis tamāṃsi ||

English translation:

“The dark day and the light day revolve alternate, affecting (the world) by their recognizable (properties); Agni vaiśvānara, manifested like a prince, dispels darkness by his lustre.”
