अ॒स्मा उ॑ ते॒ महि॑ म॒हे वि॑धेम॒ नमो॑भिरग्ने स॒मिधो॒त ह॒व्यैः । वेदी॑ सूनो सहसो गी॒र्भिरु॒क्थैरा ते॑ भ॒द्रायां॑ सुम॒तौ य॑तेम ॥
अस्मा उ ते महि महे विधेम नमोभिरग्ने समिधोत हव्यैः । वेदी सूनो सहसो गीर्भिरुक्थैरा ते भद्रायां सुमतौ यतेम ॥
asmā u te mahi mahe vidhema namobhir agne samidhota havyaiḥ | vedī sūno sahaso gīrbhir ukthair ā te bhadrāyāṃ sumatau yatema ||
English translation:
“To you, mighty Agni, we offer exceeding adoration with prostrations, with fuel, with oblations; (we glorify you) on the altar, son of strength, with hymns and with prayers; may we be successful in our efforts (to gain) you auspicious favour.”
