तं त्वा॑ व॒यं सु॒ध्यो॒३॒॑ नव्य॑मग्ने सुम्ना॒यव॑ ईमहे देव॒यन्त॑: । त्वं विशो॑ अनयो॒ दीद्या॑नो दि॒वो अ॑ग्ने बृह॒ता रो॑च॒नेन॑ ॥
तं त्वा वयं सुध्यो नव्यमग्ने सुम्नायव ईमहे देवयन्तः । त्वं विशो अनयो दीद्यानो दिवो अग्ने बृहता रोचनेन ॥
taṃ tvā vayaṃ sudhyo navyam agne sumnāyava īmahe devayantaḥ | tvaṃ viśo anayo dīdyāno divo agne bṛhatā rocanena ||

English translation:

“Intelligent, hoping for happiness, and devout, we glorify you, adorable Agni; do you, shining with exceeding lustre, lead men to heaven.”
