Rig Veda 5.68.4

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

ऋ॒तमृ॒तेन॒ सप॑न्तेषि॒रं दक्ष॑माशाते । अ॒द्रुहा॑ दे॒वौ व॑र्धेते ॥
ऋतमृतेन सपन्तेषिरं दक्षमाशाते । अद्रुहा देवौ वर्धेते ॥
ṛtam ṛtena sapanteṣiraṃ dakṣam āśāte | adruhā devau vardhete ||

English translation:

“Rewarding with rain the holy rite, they favour the zealous worshipper; benevolent deities, may you prosper.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

They favour the zealous worshipper: ṛtam ṛtena sapanta iṣiram dakṣam āśāte = udakena nimittena yajñam spriśantau eṣanavantam pravṛddham yajamānam havir vā vyāpnutaḥ, they two, for the sake of water touching or affecting the sacrifice, they pervade the inquiring, powerful instrumental tutor of the rite, they reward him; or, it may be, they pervade or accept the efficacious, adequate oblation.
