तद्वी॒र्यं॑ वो मरुतो महित्व॒नं दी॒र्घं त॑तान॒ सूर्यो॒ न योज॑नम् । एता॒ न यामे॒ अगृ॑भीतशोचि॒षोऽन॑श्वदां॒ यन्न्यया॑तना गि॒रिम् ॥
तद्वीर्यं वो मरुतो महित्वनं दीर्घं ततान सूर्यो न योजनम् । एता न यामे अगृभीतशोचिषोऽनश्वदां यन्न्ययातना गिरिम् ॥
tad vīryaṃ vo maruto mahitvanaṃ dīrghaṃ tatāna sūryo na yojanam | etā na yāme agṛbhītaśociṣo 'naśvadāṃ yan ny ayātanā girim ||

English translation:

“Your prowess, Maruts, has spread wide your glory as the sun (sends afar his) radiance, or the white (horses of the gods travel far) in their course; of unbounded lustre, you close the cloud withholding the waters.”
