दे॒वानां॒ पत्नी॑रुश॒तीर॑वन्तु न॒: प्राव॑न्तु नस्तु॒जये॒ वाज॑सातये । याः पार्थि॑वासो॒ या अ॒पामपि॑ व्र॒ते ता नो॑ देवीः सुहवा॒: शर्म॑ यच्छत ॥
देवानां पत्नीरुशतीरवन्तु नः प्रावन्तु नस्तुजये वाजसातये । याः पार्थिवासो या अपामपि व्रते ता नो देवीः सुहवाः शर्म यच्छत ॥
devānām patnīr uśatīr avantu naḥ prāvantu nas tujaye vājasātaye | yāḥ pārthivāso yā apām api vrate tā no devīḥ suhavāḥ śarma yacchata ||
English translation:
“May the wives of the gods, desiring (our homage), defend us; may they so protect us that (we may obtain) vigorous (offspring) and abundant food; whether terrestrial, or those in charge of the waters (in the firmament), do you, goddesses, earnestly invoked, bestow upon us felicity.”
